Here is my honest take for a single-day trip to Capri to maximize your time.

The Dilemma: The Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) 🚣‍♂️ Yes, the water is electric blue. It’s magic. ✨ BUT... waiting in line on a tiny rowboat under the scorching sun can take 2 to 3 hours. ❌ If you only have 6-8 hours on the island, that’s half your day gone for a 5-minute experience.

My Suggestion? 👇 Unless it’s on your absolute "Bucket List," SKIP IT. Instead, rent a private boat or take a standard island tour by sea. You’ll see the Green Grotto, the White Grotto, and pass through the Faraglioni rocks without the stress! 🚤🌊

Your Perfect 1-Day Itinerary: 

1️⃣ Morning: Head straight to Anacapri (the upper town). It’s quieter and more authentic. 

2️⃣ The Best View: Take the chairlift (Seggiovia) up to Monte Solaro. Trust me, it feels like flying over the Mediterranean. 🚠🏔️ 

3️⃣ Afternoon: Go down to Capri town for a walk to the Gardens of Augustus for that classic shot of the winding Via Krupp. 📸

🍰 FOODIE STOP: You cannot leave without trying Torta Caprese (a flourless chocolate almond cake) or a fresh Lemon Granita. Tastes like pure sunshine! 🍋☀️
