๐Ÿ‹ HOW TO SPOT REAL ARTISANAL LIMONCELLO (AND AVOID THE "TOURIST TRAPS") ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

If you visit Naples or the Amalfi Coast, you will drink Limoncello. But be careful: there is a huge difference between the "neon-yellow tourist syrup" and the liquid gold locals drink.

We want you to taste the best. Here is the local guide to finding the perfect bottle ⬇️

1️⃣ CHECK THE INGREDIENTS Authentic Limoncello has a very short list: ✅ Alcohol (high quality) ✅ Sugar ✅ Water ✅ Lemon Zest (lots of it!) If you see coloring agents, preservatives, or "natural flavors" on the label... put it back!

2️⃣ THE "SHAKE" TEST ๐ŸŒช️ This is a pro trick. If you buy a bottle, shake it gently. In a real artisanal Limoncello, you might see a small "collar" of essential oils surfacing or sticking to the neck of the bottle. Those oils come from the zest of fresh lemons. No oils? It’s likely industrial.

3️⃣ THE ALCOHOL CONTENT Don't be afraid of the strength! A good Limoncello usually sits between 30% and 35% alcohol. If it's too weak, it freezes in the freezer. If it's right, it stays liquid and creamy even at -18°C.

๐Ÿ“ WHERE TO BUY IT? Skip the souvenir shops full of magnets and keychains. Look for places that say "Laboratorio Artigianale". The best lemons (IGP) come from Sorrento (famous for aromatic oils) and the Amalfi Coast (famous for the Sfusato lemon). Both are amazing, just slightly different!

❄️ HOW TO SERVE IT: Strictly from the freezer. Even the glasses should be cold!
