๐Ÿ›‘ STOP trying to see everything in 24 hours! Here is the realistic, stress-free 3-Day Amalfi Coast Plan. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

Let’s be honest: The biggest mistake I see in this group? Trying to cram Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano, and Capri into 3 days. That isn't a vacation; that’s a boot camp! ๐Ÿฅต

If you want to actually enjoy the La Dolce Vita vibe without spending your whole trip stuck in traffic, here is my "Golden Itinerary" for first-timers.

๐Ÿ‘‡ SAVE THIS POST FOR LATER ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ“ THE BASE: Stay in Sorrento. Why? It’s the logistics hub. You have the train from Naples and the ferries to everywhere else. It’s flat (easier walking) and alive at night.

๐Ÿ—“️ DAY 1: Ease into the Vibe

◾Arrive in Sorrento, check-in, and breathe.

◾Head to Marina Grande (the fishing village below the town) for a seafood lunch right on the water.

◾Spend the afternoon wandering the narrow lanes of the historic center.

◾Must Do: Get a Limoncello Spritz at sunset at the Villa Comunale park. The view of Vesuvius is a game-changer. ๐ŸŒ‹

๐Ÿ—“️ DAY 2: The Icons (By Water!) ⛴️

◾Skip the bus (and the motion sickness). Take the morning ferry from Sorrento to Positano.

◾Spend 3 hours in Positano. Walk down to the beach, take that photo, grab a lemon sorbet.

◾Hop on the next ferry to Amalfi. Visit the Cathedral (Duomo) and wander the white alleys.

◾Pro Tip: If Amalfi is too crowded, walk 15 mins to Atrani (the smallest village in Italy) for a quieter vibe. Return to Sorrento by ferry at sunset.

๐Ÿ—“️ DAY 3: The View from Above

◾Today, we go high. Take the bus or taxi from Amalfi up to Ravello.

◾This is the "Balcony of the World." It is quieter, classier, and has the best views on the coast.

◾Visit Villa Cimbrone to see the "Terrace of Infinity." You will feel like you are flying.

◾Have a slow, long Italian lunch before heading back.

๐Ÿ’ก 3 GOLDEN RULES FOR THIS TRIP:

  1. Don’t Drive: The roads are narrow and parking is a nightmare. Use the ferries! ๐Ÿ›ฅ️

  2. Start Early: Be at the ferry port by 8:30 AM to beat the big tour groups.

  3. Pack Light: Cobblestones + heavy suitcases = broken wheels (and broken spirits).

๐Ÿ—ฃ️ TELL ME: Which town are you most excited to see? Positano for the glam, or Ravello for the views? Drop a comment below! ๐Ÿ‘‡
