Naples has some serious, undeniable problems. 📰👇
🌋 Problem #1: The views are out of control You walk down the promenade… an incredible view of the sea. 🌊 Turn a corner… Mount Vesuvius is staring right at you. 🏔️ Climb up to Posillipo… surprise! The entire Bay of Naples in all its sparkling glory. ✨ At some point, you will ask yourself: “Do I really need 147 photos of the exact same volcano?” The answer is yes. Yes, you do. 📸
🛵 Problem #2: The streets are ridiculously alive Narrow alleys, laundry hanging from balconies like festive banners, the smell of fresh espresso, and Vespas buzzing by… ☕👕 You will find yourself saying “This is so authentic!” about every single corner of Spaccanapoli and the Quartieri Spagnoli. 🤌
🏛️ Problem #3: The history simply won’t leave you alone Greeks were here. 🏺 Romans were here. 🏛️ Bourbons built magnificent palaces here. 👑 There are entire ancient cities buried right underneath your feet, and suddenly your “quick weekend getaway” turns into an immersive, multi-century history lesson. 📜
🍕 Problem #4: The food is extremely dangerous Especially the Pizza Margherita, the Sfogliatella, and the Babà. 🍕🥐😋 People usually say: “I’ll just have one slice or one pastry to try it,” but that’s just the beginning of a never-ending culinary obsession. 🎭 Problem #5: The city is full of surprises Hidden underground catacombs locals deeply cherish. 💀 Street art and Maradona murals in unexpected piazzas. ⚽🎨 Tiny trattorias serving the most incredible ragù you've ever tasted. 🍝 The problem? Most casual tourists walk right past them without noticing the magic. ✨
